Day 17: ‘Church-hopping’ in Iloilo

Aside from Miagao Church, Iloilo City has other interesting churches. On our way to Miagao, we passed along several old churches. One of the churches that appealed to me is the Molo Church due to its Gothic architecture. It is also known as Sta. Ana Parish. As we have visited it on a Sunday, I was not able to look inside due to an ongoing mass.

Aside from that, the district of Jaro is known as the heritage district as it has plenty of old houses and churches. Walking distance from where we stayed at are the Jaro Cathedral and Jaro Belfry.

There are still other churches that can be found in Iloilo. Spending a day to visit all of them is not enough.Ā  So I have another reason to go back to this city. šŸ™‚
